Biography
Dr Amara Okonkwo is a consultant endocrinologist leading a busy metabolic health clinic in Lagos. Much of her work centres on polycystic ovary syndrome, thyroid disease and insulin resistance in African women — conditions she believes are too often dismissed. She writes and speaks to replace confusion with clarity.
